What is it?

Overdrive eBooks are now available for checkout through our partnership with overdrive.. Just click here or on the overdrive logo or click on the ebooks quick links option. All you need is a library card and your pin number.

How does it  work?:

Overdrive is different that what you have seen with anything before. We have begun to build our digital library collection and will be adding to it as we proceed and receive funds for it.

How do I get started:

Go to our Overdrive homepage and click "Sign In" in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.  Enter your Library Card number and pin number and click "Sign In".  You will now be on our Overdrive homepage.

Okay,  Now what?:

If you have any questions on how to get Overdrive working with your specific tablet or e-reader please click on the help button and click on the Tile for "Overdrive Help" and find your device under "Getting Started With".  If you do not see your device then you may want to check the "Device Resource Center" under "More Help" on the left-hand side of the screen.  Here you will be able to see what formats your device supports or if your device is unsupported.

Freading is a growing collection of fiction and nonfiction eBooks. Freading titles are always available – no waiting in line even if someone else is reading the book.

How does it work?
Each user gets 5 tokens per week to spend on eBooks. eBooks cost 1, 2, or 4 tokens. If you don’t use all your tokens in a week, they roll over for up to 4 weeks, when your account resets. eBooks expire after 2 weeks, but in many cases, you can renew without spending any additional tokens.

Can I read Freading eBooks on my mobile device?
Freading eBooks can be read on most mobile devices, including tablets, smartphones, and NOOKs, Sony Readers, and Kobo Readers. Freading eBooks are compatible with Kindle Fire, but not Kindle E Ink readers. Sorry.

Sounds great! How do I get started?
Computer and laptop users – install and authorize Adobe Digital Editions on your computer NOOKs and other eReaders – install and authorize Adobe Digital Editions on your computer, then connect your reader to the computer to complete the process. Tablet and smartphone users – download the Freading app from your app store. For more information, see the Freading FAQs.
